The Lumix line of cameras has a list of features that make it stand out from the rest of the camera world and with good reason. Their wide angle digital cameras have choices within the model lineup that truly satisfy the wide angle desires of many picture takers. Unlike many popular digital cameras who only provide a weak version of true wide angle viewing, Panasonic’s Lumix cameras offer you true wide angle response with offerings featuring 25mm, 28mm and 29mm wide angle lenses.

If 25mm doesn’t sound like much of an angle, consider that when taking a picture from the same distance to your subject with a conventional lens, a 25mm wide angle lens will give you a picture framed at more than two times wider. When you’re outdoors and you need a wider shot you can always back up a little and almost achieve the same result. But indoors or in any area where you are limited in your ability to back away from your subjects, your only choice for getting a wide angle picture without adding more background and overhead is a wide angle digital camera and not just any camera with a wide setting.

The difference is astonishing when you actually compare two pictures side by side of the same subjects at the same distance with a true wide angle camera and a conventional camera with a wide setting. There is no guessing which is the better device.
